在水处理、固废资源化、新能源领域取得多项创新性成果。近年来以通讯作者身份在包括 Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.ACS NanoEnviron. Sci. Technol.Water Res.Adv. Funct. Mater.Appl. Catal. B等国际著名刊物在内的SCI期刊上发表学术论文160余篇,SCI他引13000余次,H-指数73,多篇论文入选Highly cited paperHot paperResearch front连续入选年度全球2%顶尖科学家榜单“全球终身科学影响力排行榜”榜单。国际媒体ChemPubSoc Europe旗下的“ChemistryViews”对研究工作进行了亮点报道;多次作国际学术会议邀请报告及分会主席。研究成果被湖南卫视、央广网、凤凰资讯等20余家媒体报道。授权专利20余项,撰写专著2研究成果获得湖南省自然科学一等奖、湖南省科技创新奖。
